Items 1-5 are now law; 6-7 passed the House; 8-17 have been assigned to committee.
All of these laws are focused on protecting our children
and those that cannot protect themselves!
I firmly believe these proposed laws will continue
to protect our citizens of South Carolina
and our
Constitutional Rights!
ROAD IMPROVEMENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
1. Hwy SC24 West from I85 to County Line - Completed the widening of the soft shoulder and the repaving of 4.59 Miles in District 8.
2. Hwy SC24 West Double Bridges - Completed the concrete repair in District 8.
3. Hwy SC24 West Double Bridges - Completed repaving and repair in full depth, and asphalt end and middle in District 8.
4. Hwy SC187 South from Hwy SC24 to SC 29 - Completed the widening of the soft shoulder, and is in the process of repaving 7.74 miles in District 8 & District 11.
5. Hwy SC187 North from Hwy SC 24 West to Hwy SC76 West - Completed the widening of the soft shoulder and is in the process of repaving 7.13 miles in District 8.
6. Jackson Circle - Approved the realignment and widening - ACTC will proceed with Engineering Study in District 8.
7. Hwy SC81 South/Murray Avenue - In the process of repaving - 2.87 Miles in District 8.
8. Interstate 85 - Future project to widen and repave 14.67 Miles in District 8.
ROAD IMPROVEMENT NEEDS
The following chart lists roads and bridges in Anderson County demonstrating how large of a need there is that I will continue to work towards improving:
